I remember at 31 weeks, the fire was so lit under my butt and I wanted to get everything we still needed and get everything set up and ready. But because of our toddler, I am still keeping things in boxes as long as I can so he can't somehow find his way to stuff and use his toddler powers to somehow break it lol.

But now that I'm thinking it's time to start building things and setting them up, that motivation and need to prepare is pretty much gone lol. I'm thinking my nesting came and went, and I missed my opportunity to get things done while I had the real energy to.

I think it's also partly denial that I need to get anything done yet because I still feel like I have forever to go!

LOL. Good luck! YOu have got enough time to prepare! I got everything out and will be putting it away because my toddler ( almost 2 years old ) decided using baby things. He has been swinging in his swing, trying out BUMBO, enjoying the playmat... lol.

I was the same as you... Had a curst around 31-32 weeks but then lost steam. Just recently at 36 weeks I had another burst. Sadly because of the contractions and pelvic pressure I didn't get as much done that I wanted too.

I'm sure it will come back, I had a mini nesting episode the other night. It was late but I HAD TO get my side of the room perfectly clean even though we haven't set up the bassinet yet because of the cats. I felt a little insane.

Mine is gone now too. I've gotten to the point where it just doesn't seem to do anything. I mean I clean and clean and clean, but its like nothing is being done!! The place is still a mess thanks to DH and DS.

Mine came around 35 or 36 weeks and then left... I think it's back, though! I feel like it's crunch time right before this baby comes!
