so this is gonna sound funny but you know how like right after you hit puberty you watch something like fox an the hound an you start crying like a baby and your all like what the hey hey why am i sad this is like my favorite movie ever *ok so maybe that was just me*

anyway lately thats been happening alot. any show with kids is awesome even if its a show I normally hate and shows with people getting hurt suck even if they were previously my favorite shows ever. Im kinda sorta getting afraid of watching shows or movies anymore. this goes away right.

It didn't go away for me...I STILL can't watch the news (could be bc Chicago news is scary) or shows about certain topics re: kids.

I've really been noticing this a lot lately. I can't make it through much of anything. Criminal Minds used to be my favorite show, but if it deals with kids in any way, I can't emotionally handle it. I watched the Lady in Black the other night and almost had a breakdown every time another kid bit the dust. It only got worse for me after having Akadia. Everytime I hear a news story about something tragic happening to a child, I see it as happening to her. Movies I used to like, I can't even watch. I'm afraid it's going to be even worse after having this next one!

I just want to add; I actually did watch the fox and the hound about a month ago and tried fighting back the tears. I ended up crying... it was inevitable.
