Do you plan to do anything nice just for yourself after bub arrives? Or does your DP have any plans to spoil you? Something to look forward to?

Nope. I generally don't leave my babies for a few months at least, even with DH. I'll probably continue to get my monthly pedicure, but Adalyn will be with me each time My mom will be out at the end of August and I'm sure she'll try sending me out for something!

Nothing planned. I'm sure I'll get out for a pedicure or something quick at some point.

I don't have anything planned. With Jacob I went and got my hair done a few weeks before he arrived... might do the same thing this time.

Heck, I need to be overhauled now: spray tan, manicure, pedicure, haircut…. I look like crap.

No plans really. I will be cutting my hair about 6 inches before the baby comes, ( i THINK) lol but my birthday is Sept 24th, baby should be a little over a month and hopefully DH Baby & I can go out to dinner or leave him with my MIL for an hr or so. Gotta see how things go at that time.

Nope. I just got my hair cut a few days ago. I might dye it after he gets here, sick of looking at the greys. But I don't generally pamper myself at all so I don't think that will change. For a good two weeks while I heal I plan on forcing DH to do all the cleaning of the house. Does that count?

Nothing planned. I did tell DH I would like a hair cut before delivery, but that's all I'm planning on.

❤ Big Thanks to Vicki, trishosaurus, & Shortcake for the great siggies of my kids! ❤

Nope, I don't really do pampering. But, I do plan on getting back to the gym after the 6 week healing period and that is definitely something to look forward to. Training without a big belly.

I am a little worried about leaving my little one that early too. But my birthday falls 5 days after my due date, so I would like to do something nice then. Maybe I'll ask DH to just let me sleep a few extra hours if he has the day off .

Not a darn thing! I might make my SO paint my toe nails and give me a massage or something, but other than that I don't expect much

The only pampering I plan on getting is staying in the hospital as long as possible after baby is here! With #2 & #3 I asked to leave within 24hrs of birth even though they wanted me to stay another night. When I came home with #3, that very night my 2nd dd became sick with vomitting & fever. She was only 19mo at the time so it was not fun. I was up all night taking care of her & cleaning up & nursing the baby while dh slept! So for me, the hospital time is vacation from everything but me & baby.

No pampering or anything special. I'm hoping my friend is out here so that I can have one night of sipping on some alcohol and fighting off the mesquitos on my back patio (or right in front of my garage). That would be heaven in itself. So long as all the kids are asleep and the husband is behaved.

Ditto most of the comments. Manicure & Pedicure every two weeks, won't be skipped! Definitely some wine......and maybe since I'll be off work for 8 weeks but our nanny will still be here full time, I'll skip away for a massage and facial before going back to work.

Haircut and color is today - yippppppee!!! (Well hair color was last weekend but the girl screwed it up so today is re-do at another salon).

Oh...and this one will be slightly controversial to some of you....but my "pampering" choice is that I am not going to breastfeed this time. Last time, I did, and it was miserable the entire time because of nipple / latch issues (confirmed by 3 top NYC lactation specialists who actually encouraged me to supplement with formula) and my autoimmune disorder (which was terrible for my supply). Despite that, becuase of the pressure from my MIL and DH, I persisted pumping every 2 hours for 4 months to get maybe 4-6 oz a day for my son. I couldn't concentrate on anything but trying to make it better/different and it "ruined" my entire first few months with my baby as well as my time off work.

This time, I am just going to do colustrum in the hospital, see if "magically" it is different....and if it isn't, I'm not going to beat myself up and be miserable since I only have 8 weeks off work this time and not 18. That's my "pampering vacation"!!!
Me (34), Hubby (42), DS (2 years) - and baby DD (born on 7.24)!

If I have enough money left from my wages (after putting away for new car, council tax I will owe retrospectively and Chrimbo) I may have my hair done a few weeks after baby is born so I can feel like I look nice again...I don't dye it during pregnancy and I don't like my natural colour plus it's gone very straggly.

Looking forward to an Archer's and lemonade, or two, or three, too.
