What kind of diaper bag do you have? What do you carry in it?

We have this Gerber diaper bag which we hardly use. If I used our stroller more I'd probably use it and put it underneath or hang it somehow. Since I mostly wear her when we're in public I find it easier to use a backpack...as dorky as it looks having an Ergo AND a backpack strapped to you lol. Then I can be completely hands free. Inside we have:

A wet bag and at least 1 cloth diaper
1 disposable diaper (just in case idk why really)
Changing pad
Travel pack of disposable wipes
Sample diaper cream we got (and have never used)
Extra outfit
Kleenex
Nursing cover
Burp cloth--although currently there isn't one in there...better get on that

I think that's it...we also usually have hand sanitizer in there but the last kind we got smells awful and gives me a headache so I have to get some a different kind.

I have a couple bags. One is for my 4 yr old, and it's just diapers, wipes, and toys. it was made by my mom so...a Sharon Bag? The other has no brand on it. Given to me, but it says made in the USA on a little tag. It has a zippered pocket that converts to a changing pad. I love it.

diapers
wipes
boobie pads
burp cloth
plastic bag
blanket
toys
change of clothes

I think that's it.

I have a diaper bag that isn't sturdy enough (JJ Cole). In it, I have a changing pad, diapers, wipes, several plastic bags, 2 changes of clothes, books and toys, hand sanitizer, an emergency pacifier, a bottle plus bib (for the babysitter), a breastfeeding cover, and a couple of burp cloths. (I guess this is a lot -- perhaps this explains why the zipper broke?!) lol.

Our diaper bag contents are almost identical! I use a big purse instead of a diaper bag. Inside I have:

1 cloth diaper (I add more if I'm going to be gone long)
1 disposable for some reason. I don't really know why I keep it in there
travel pack of disposable wipes
sample size butt paste that I've never used.
changing pad
baby wash cloth to use as a burp rag (takes up less space)
extra outfit
wet bag
gallon sized ziploc
one small toy
chap stick, lip gloss, powder and hair tie for mommy
wallet
keys
cell phone.
I keep my nursing cover in the car and throw it in if I think I'll be in someplace long enough to nurse her. Lately I've started leaving my changing pad in the car too. I hate public changing tables so I usually take her to the car to change her anyway.
gum

That sounds like a ton of stuff but it actually doesn't take up much room at all.
