So DH has been acting a little strange so I finally asked him what's wrong, he replied he was stressed. He tried to change the subject but I kept prying and he finally told me he was preparing himself if something happened to me and/or William during L&D. Well I hadn't really thought about it but now I'm freaking out a bit. I know we should discuss what I would want him to do but my stomach is in my throat. Anyone else thinking this way? Any advice or comfort?

The only thing I can think to say is that it's extremely unlikely that you or your baby will die during labor/delivery. Just one baby and full term are both really good for reducing risks.

If something does happen, hospitals are prepared/know how to handle the extreme emergencies.

Thank you. Logically I understand there is a extremely small chance that's why I didn't really think about it before. I think his emotional fears influenced me. We finally sat down and I told him what I wanted in the event things go wrong. So I'm hoping talking about it will help the both of us.

What ifs will get you every time. Just try to focus on the positive wonderful things to pull you through. I'm such a worrier but I have to believe everything will be okay in the end or I'll drive myself batty
