Do you finally feel settled into your role as mommy of an infant?? Do you feel like you've just got used to it or is your baby getting easier to care for??

I think she is a lot easier to care for now. Less crankiness and it's easier to tell why she is unhappy.

i'm still having trouble. it's hard settling into the role of mom of two boys with a special need/learning disorder and the mom of an infant who's very needy. I can't wait until she's older to make things just a bit easier.

Settled is more like it.....she's the reason I work thru lunch, and rush home from work everyday (corny but true)

Helps that she's no longer giving me the "I'm mad at you stare" when I come home.

Normally, he's pretty easy to care for as long as he has the same routine every day. When he switches it up one day, thats when I struggle.

I was settled when I was staying home with her.

Now that I'm back to work, I need to get settled with the new routine. I don't like the new routine and won't settle easily with it.

Yes. She's very easy to take care of and always has been. Every now and then she'll get fussy and want to be held all the time but she usually calms right down with someone holding her. She goes right to sleep when I lay her down and smiles most of the day:-)

There's nothing easy about twins, but there are moments where it has become less hard. I can more easily figure out what's wrong with both of them, and I've gotten quite talented at caring for both of them at the same time. Balancing the older 2 with the needs of the babies is still a challenge and a struggle, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel like I'm neglecting them for the sake of the younger two. I'm hoping that will get better.
