Will you have a changing table or will you use a dresser with changing pad combo? Do you have one yet? If so, please share!

I think we are just going to go with a run of the mill changing table. I found ont that has a dresser and changing table that matches our crib but it's three hundred dollars, not sure if I want to spend that.

Changing tables make me uneasy, so I've always just changed diapers on the floor. It's just me, I'm not saying that they are dangerous. My niece rolled off the table at 2 months and my SIL broke her collar bone trying to catch her and that thought made me decide to just not get one from the beginning. I might consider it this time though, my back used to ache from bending over!

We don't have a changing table, we had one with the first and quite honestly it never got used! I change diapers on the floor, in the pack and play, or on my bed.

If we were buying a new nursery set with matching crib, dresser etc....I would do the dresser w/the changing pad so that the dresser would be used even if I didn't use the changing table part.

We're just going to use the dresser and changing pad on top. We won't have a lot of space, and I don't want the nursery to look crammed, so we'll be forgoing the changing table.

I have a dresser that has a changing table built in. Everytime I have a baby I put the little pad cover on the pad and put the pad on the table. And every baby it hardly ever gets used. I usually end up changing the baby on the floor, couch or my bed, especially when baby starts moving more. Its just easier

We usually just use the floor but someone was going to throw theirs in the trash so we said we would take it. If it doesn't get used much I will probably pass it on to someone

I think we're going with the dresser/changing pad combo. I don't have one picked out yet, though.

We have a stand alone changing table, since DD (and presumably this one as well) lived in our room for the first 12+ months. We end up buying one that matched our bedroom set, and even though we haven't used the thing since DD was potty trained, we used it extensively prior to that. It was easier for me to have one place to stash the diapers, wipes, rash cream, etc...versus having to chase down a diaper, the wipes and then go somewhere else to dispose of the diaper. We got a pretty cheap one on Amazon, (I think we paid like $70) but it looked nice and it has storage shelves underneath we we DO still use for DD's clothes. (I bought some cute canvas boxes to store things in.)

I'm getting a changing table that matches the crib we're getting from my sister in law. I really hope that it has some drawers and we can use it as a dresser, but I don't know.

I think I am gonna go with the changing pad/dresser combo because we don't have much room. DH is gonna put shelves up above it so I can store diapers and wipes and stuff up there. I am with Maggie. Having one place to change and dispose of diapers makes it easier. I will have to get up to go get the diapers and wipes anyway so why not take Zoey and change her somewhere I have everything I need.

It's kind of funny...we usually use the floor/couch too but this time around I'm going to actually have two change tables..lol...it makes little sense but my husband made a changing table out of an old record player holder and we'll use the contoured change pad on top. It's actually quite beautiful so I'll keep it in the main living area. And then a friend is giving me her crib/change table combo so I'll use that in the baby's room..LOL...I went from never thinking I'd use one to actually having two.

I have always had the dresser that has the attached changing area that you just add a pad to. Since we won't be doing a nursery I will just get a pad to throw on the couch whe we need to change.

I didn't have a dresser/changing table with my first because they didn't fit in his room, and honestly we don't change him in there most of the time. I use the pack and play changing table. I'm sure we'll continue to do the same with this baby.
