After look around at different stores and such, I have found that I like the contour changing pads... Now this might seem like a silly question, but keep in mind that DD is almost 8 so back then we didnt have contour changing pads we just used the thin changing pad that came with the table....
Can you still use a contour changing pad on a changing table, or is it strickly for use ontop of a dresser?
A BIG thank you to *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!
We used a contoured changing pad in our stand-alone without issue, Raina. I think the external dimensions are exactly the same no matter which one you choose. The contoured pads are just thicker and well, contoured. Our stand along did come with a pad, which we still have underneath our contoured pad.
The one caveat I would give you is that the contoured pad DOES stick out of the otherwise "boxed" in portion of the changing table. (in other words, the changing pad that it came with would have put baby INSIDE of the table, the contoured pad actually sticks out, so there are no "sides" to the table other than the pad itself.) Snce I would NEVER leave DD alone on the changing table, this was a non-issue for me, but I did want to let you know that.
