How are you ladies holding up? Are you on partial/full bedrest?

Amber - I'm loving the new siggy Akadia is just too cute! & I notice in one week, you'll have just double digits left- YAY!!!!

I'm on strict bed rest. Only up to use the rest room, Dr's appts & showering every 2-3 days (they prefer every third). I'm holding up much better now, although I'm so used to doing everything that it's very difficult to rely on others.

Awe Tanya, I'm sure that has to be hard! I'm just so excited that little Annalise is doing so good though! Keep baking little one!

Thanks for the siggie compliment! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. Just a few months and I'll have to update it again with the new baby!

Tanya-who takes care of you? I was on strict bed rest with my first from 30 weeks on, and it was hard because my husband had class all day and we knew NOBODY in the area. Family was all 10 hours away, no friends as they had all begun graduating (college) and moving away. I know you're kids are in their teens-are they super helpful, or do you have other family/friends who come take care of you?

It's just the kids... They are as helpful as teens will be & I am super lucky this happened during the summer. I basically rely on them, which is probably why I've been losing weight - taquitos, pop tarts, buffalo chicken, French fries, and sandwiches are what I eat unless I order out. I hope this ensure helps!! I have a friend that brings a meal once a week, so that helps. The kids try their best to keep it clean, but I'm resigned to the fact that my house will be a disaster to clean when I'm off bedrest... Then I get whoever I can to take me to the Dr's, but it's a pain, so I might call and ask if it would be ok if I drive myself. I feel bad that my kids are eating crappy food too, but I keep telling myself it's only temporary & luckily they understand. I don't know what I'd do if they were younger!

Just me being so nauseous in the beginning had me feeling do bad for my kids. I can't imagine how hard bed rest is with any aged children. I'm glad yours are being understanding and trying to be helpful
And yes, all you bed rest Mommas, hang in there! You're doing great!

I'm on modified bed rest. At first I was only able to use the bathroom and shower. Now, I can make a quick meal for lunch, use the stairs 2-4 times a day and lounge longer than an hour. I still like laying in bed though, lounging actually hurts my tail bone. I can stand no more then 20 minutes at a time, no more then an hour per day.I think I'm more excited that I can go to the backyard and get some sunshine, but I've gotten so use to being in the house, I'm so lazy to go. 8 weeks on bed rest, 15 weeks to go. almost there.

I'm not actually on bedrest but i'm "supposed to take it easy whenever possible" I'm not sure if i'll end up on actual bedrest or not... my cervix is fine and I'm not having contrax or anything so i dont know if it is likely for my situation or not
