UGH I've gotten some of those comments already and I'm not even "due" until Aug 16!! Some lady yesterday decided to tell me over and over how HUGE I was. I wish I could have walked away but I was exchanging something and she was next in line. The nerve, do women really think pregnant women like hearing that stuff?!
I don't think I've gotten any of them but when I was pregnant with my son my cousin who I never talk to called me to ask if I had the baby yet. I wasn't even overdue yet. It was just so strange. Why did they care? Did they have a bet going or something?
I'm already getting annoying comments too. At work last week I had various comments about how big I was and how the baby "MUST" be coming VERY soon because surely I can't get any bigger. And I'm still two and a half weeks off my due date!!
Location: Bossier City, Louisiana(missing Aviano, Italy)
I don't go out in public anymore. I said something the other day about "this" baby and someone thought I said "these" baby's. When the a/c isn't working at the store and I look miserable it might not have anything to do with how pregnant I am, though that contributes to my uncomfortableness, its because it's fricken hot and uncomfortable there. Next person that asks me when I'm due or when I was due, I'm going to say last week. That always gets a reaction. Also very tempted to use the water bottle, my water broke trick the next time I have to wait in a long line to check out at the grocery store that has no a/c working.
it doesn't help either that with my first two pregnancies I had my baby's by now. So everyone is expecting this one to come now, but I had my last one at 40 & 2. My husband is constantly asking me if it's time yet.
