Arthur has very sensitive skin. He has eczema, and we are constanly battling diaper rash. It's here a week, gone a few days, back a week - very frustrating. His pee is REALLY potent, so we think that is the issue. we have to change him constantly. he can't be in a wet diaper or else he will break out in a horrible rash. We experimented with only using cloth wipes and that didn't help, so we go back and forth since we were gifted with a case of wipes.
No thank god!! Kaylin seems to be ok with just about anything. My son on the other hand had insanely sensitive skin. He was 5 before we could quit using baby detergent on his clothes. He still has to use baby sensitive aveeno wash or he breaks out in these horrible welts. It's horrible.
Amelia has bad reactions to A&D ointment. I made my own diaper rash ointment, aquaphor and milk of magnesia, she is sensitive to the acid in her stool. I had to cut tomato from my diet. Also we discovered last weekend that if she is in disposable's full time she gets a rash but after a day of being home and back in her cloth diapers, her butt was no longer red.
