So we just found out my sister in law is preggo... Due at the end of feb. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for them and everything, but the strange thing is, they were supposedly trying for 2 years and couldnt get preggo, then last june stopped trying until they found out we were expecting. Then all of a sudden the first month they start trying again she's now preggo...I mean it will be nice for our baby to have a cousin so close in age, just very strange timing for her to all of a sudden be able to get preggo without problems, and makes me wonder if they were even trying before that. Or if she was maybe lying to my brother in law. I will admit they are both very competitive and jealous people(didn't even get a congrats from them), as my husband puts it "there lives are kinda like a chess match". Just very weird timing. By the way it's my husband's brother and his wife.

I know when I had several friends who were "trying" had a LOT of problems ttc. As soon as they would stop and get out of that mind set of "trying" It would happen. Maybe that's the situation that they are in. I hope that they will try to be close with you guys now. My step sister inlaw is pregnant and due a week before I am and we are not close and it kinda sucks. But hey thats life.

IDK anything is possible. I wouldn't necessarily accuse them of lying, it doesn't sound like they are. After a break things can change, too. I know taking a break for nearly a year helped me - my cycles suddenly got regular. Stranger things have happened.

We were ttc on and off for ages, then we took a break to get married and bingo, first month of trying I got a bfp.

My SIL was due 5 weeks before me, but in the end our little girls are 9 days apart. just be prepared for the endless comparisons (I just look at the 2 of them together and can´t see how anyone would think my niece was half as pretty as my baby girl )
