We were thinking of giving our daughter a middle name combining both our mothers' names. My mom's name is Mary Helen and is mom's name is Liz Ann. The only combo I can come up with is MaryAnn, but that's too close to my nieces first name Kasey-Ann. Any other combos that I am missing?
I actually don't think MaryAnn is too close to your nieces name, especially to use as a middle name. I think it's the best/easiest choice, but I'm going to think about this some more to see what else I can come up with.
I don't think MaryAnn is too close and it will be a middle name anyway. My daughter will have the same middle name as my neice - Elisabeth, although my neice's is Elizabeth. Also, 2 of my neices both have O'Neil as their middle name after my dad and my son's first name is Neil. It's never been an issue.
