I'm normally pretty laid back. If something or someone annoys me, I usually have a pretty high tolerance for things. I've noticed though, that the further along I get in my pregnancy, the thinner my patience is for stupid situations or idiotic people. I know this is to be expected, but sometimes I even surprise myself with my bluntness and unapologetic candor. Does anyone else feel this way?

YES. My patience is even shorter with the girls. I hate it when I'm being that way, but for some reason I can't seem to stop! Dang hormones!

That's exactly how I feel. "For some reason I can't seem to stop!"

How old are your girls? I don't have any children, but I have a very sick cat who keeps using the floor as a potty. I also have to give him insulin twice a day. This certainly isn't his fault by any means, but I feel like I'm perpetually bathing him and my carpet. I just want a break in this heat!

Today was a BAD day for my attitude and patience. Both my grampa and my mom were pissing me off. They kept getting on my case for liking the smell of menthol. Really? You're going to pick on a pregnant lady because she likes a certain smell right now? Real mature....

Hopefully tomorrows a better day. But I'm noticing my fuse is getting shorter and shorter...

I have no patience anymore, it's awful. I really try to with my girls but it's so hard, and I've felt like a mean mommy lately. It's even worse when I'm out in stores.

Really? Almost every pregnant person I've known likes that smell at one point or another...

as far as dealing with ppl I actually kinda think im getting more patiant these last few weeks thats probably just my opinion though.

but if there is any such thing as pregnancy ADD I totally have It I cant even get up and make a sandwich without ending up with markers and a coloring book strewn out in front of a TV with flash games up on my laptop and a dr suess book. The kittens have a longer attention span then me right now.

They kept calling me an addict and giving me the most judgmental looks. They even tried to take it away from me. I kept telling them that I just like the smell, its natural menthol so its not like paint or chemical fumes, and I'm not eating it.... so whats the big deal? I finally snapped at my mom when she was harassing me for the tube of Biofreeze. I put some on her finger and she smelled it, followed by the most hateful and disgusted look I've ever seen on a human. I've never been more tempted to hit a person in my life...

Yes, I've definetly had a shorter fuse this pregnancy. Everything annoys me, lol.

I've had a shorter fuse with people in stores. I haven't snapped yet (given some nasty looks), but I've been getting close. Two times in the last week as I've been checking out the person behind me moves up before I even pay, so I've had to squeeze literally between them and the pay pad so I can run my card and pay. And the idiots just stand there in my way even though I am physically pushing them away from it. They are so lucky I wasn't buying a baseball bat. It would probably annoy me any other time too, but not to the degree it does right now.

Oh yes, definitely have a short fuse this pregnancy! I'm typically a very patient person, as well. But right now I have little to none in the patience department! And of course, my kids get the brunt of it, too. I'm home all day with them, and they are just the ones who I let it out on. I feel so bad, but I've been trying to be more aware of it and that's helping. A little.

Yup me too, my patience is slowly wearing thin too, and it's totally unintentional. I try not to snap at my boyfriend, but sometimes I just can't help it.

In a way I'm glad I'm not working as a barista anymore, because there's no way I could handle snobby customers at this point in my pregnancy haha. I probably would've been fired, all kinds of things set me off it seems.
