This is the monitor we are thinking of getting. It's a little pricey though. Anyone hear anything about this model?

I can get the next step down from this monitor at BJ's for only $129. Lots cheaper even than Amazon. I really like the features on the higher end one though. Ugh, decisions...

I would go for the first one because I like the pan/tilt/zoom feature (I use it frequently on the monitor we currently have). But if you don't need it...then save yourself the $$$.

Have you looked into the Summer infant - Baby touch monitor? It seems similar to the MBP36, and you might be able to find it for a bargain since its been out a while.

What kind do you have? I had looked at the Summer one but was a little worried about some of the negative reviews. Maybe I'll give it a second look.

Amber, the first one is the same one I put on my BRU registry. I researched the reviews and sounds pretty good. Same price as amazon, and if you have a coupon with BRU you can get 20% off.

My experience with the summer brand - I'd recommend people don't buy it, horrible.

I've heard amazing reviews about the Motorola brand!
I've been looking into iBaby from apple.

I have the Summer Infant Baby Touch and haven't had any problems with it. Picture is clear, sound is great, no wireless disturbances. The buttons are so easy on the summer. The only thing I can think of to complain about is the sensitivity of the touch screen. <shrug> but it hasn't even been an issue.

My sister also has the SI Baby touch and hasn't had a problem with hers.

Im surprised to hear of bad reviews...

That is the one I have on my registry too! The first link, the more expensive one!
