Swaddling seems to help her stay asleep longer. Nursing will often make her fall asleep. Sitting on an exercise ball while holding her and bouncing gently calms her down when she's crabby. She won't fall asleep with the hicups, but gripe water gets rid of those.
Mama to an elementary school boy, kindergarten girl, and my miracle toddler girl.

When he's fed and has a clean diaper but still won't fall asleep, I have my husband hold him for awhile. For some reason, he falls asleep better for other people than for me, probably because I'm the food machine It usually works pretty well!
She loves to be swaddled, her daddy is the better swaddler of us, he just gets her so snug! She also loves to be walked. Rocking works ok, but just holding her close and walking around patting her back usually knocks her out pretty quick. And stroking her forehead gently seems to relax her. So far tho, no real problems with sleep...fingers crossed!!!
