how many of us are expecting our first?
are you excited?
do you have any "baby experience"?
for some reason i was thinking there were only 2 or 3 of us here but looking at the posts lately I'm pretty sure there are quite a few more.
edit* haha i forgot to add my own answers
obviously its my first since Im asking who else is having there 1st
I switch back and forth still some but I'm excited alot more then worried lately
I actually have very little "experience" I have babysat but only once they were walking talking and potty trained. Iv never changed a diaper and iv only held a baby twice so yeah......... I know lots of ppl who had kids around me all the time it was just pretty well known that I dont really touch them until there capable of carrying on a conversation.

Do I have baby experience? Pft, I have like a million cousins lol. There's a new baby every month haha. I have no siblings, so that's where I think I don't really have experience with, but definitely babysat...a lot.

Excited is a major understatement... I've waited a lonnnnng time for this!
And as for experience, I worked for several years at a daycare, and when I finished teaching preschool in the mornings, I would go back and take care of the infants in the nursery (ages 6wks to 18 months). There were days we had as many as 14 in there at one time! So yeah, I've had PLENTY of experience.
Also DH and I babysat (aka 'raised as our own') a little guy whose mom worked 3rd shift for almost a year. We would have him all night long and most of the day. She had him about 8 hours a day. I called him my "practice baby."
I'm thrilled to become a mommy but a little nervous about how that will change DH and I's dynamics as a couple. I'm sure it'll be an everyday work at it type thing.
DH has lots of experience...he has 6 siblings. I have some experience as a prior babysitter and nursery tech at the hospital occasionally but I think its going to be so different with my own. I feel like it will come naturally but I may be surprised.
