So, we tried to put our stroller in the back of our car (We drive a dodge Caliber) and the thing doesn't fit!! So, we decided it was a good time to go trade it in for something else. We've been planning on doing this for a while but now we just have an excuse to do it sooner and stop putting it off
Sooo when he gets off work in 2 hours we are going to Chevrolet to pick out our new Chevy Cruze! It's got a huge trunk, and plenty of backseat space. Plus, I've been in love with this thing since it came out last year. Just didn't think at the time we'd be buying one now because it's more family friendly
Hopefully they offer us a good deal on our Caliber! Wish us luck!
We won't be buying today, just seeing what they have and what they'll offer us for the Dodge. We're going to shop around at all the different dealerships around here to see who gives us the best deal.
New cars are always fun. I would bring the stroller with to make sure it will fit. One thing I learned when I bought my car is to look at prices of the same car at other local dealers and then bring those prices up if more cheaper then the one you want. Also try to barter in free oil changes or something to keep the car maintain.
We found a new one at one place that we can afford but it's the base model. Then we found a used one at another place with only 10k miles it's a better model with 10 more MPG (42 total) for 1000 cheaper than the new one. So, we're leaning towards used. At only 10k miles on it that's practically new anyway.
I LOVE that we're finally doing this, but I HATE the process of getting a car. Hopefully this goes pretty smooth and we get it all taken care of quickly.
Good Luck to everyone else also in the market for a new car!
