So, I attempted to call a seamstress today but no one answered, so I took it as a sign that maybe the dress was just not worth getting altered, so I started looking for navy maternity dresses. This is my favorite I've come up with: Cotton Glam Maternity Cross Over Dress - Best Price
I know it's not the same formal fabric, but I think I could dress it up, and really, I need to look appropriate and be comfortable if I'm going to be the matron of honor at this wedding!
I think that's a great idea! It's beautiful, looks comfy, and could definitely be dressed up as much as you need it to be. If the bride is okay with it, then I say go for it! With the kind of alterations you'd need done on the dress you have, I think you're saving money, too.

Its awesome! I think especially being the matron of honor, you can get away with your dress being a little different than the other bridesmaids, too. Im glad you found something that you'll be comfy in!
Thank you *Kiliki* for my awesome siggy!
