My appointment went pretty well today Although, my WBC count in my urine was elevated...again (I swear I have a lifelong UTI with this pregnancy). Also, I've been watching my BP climb slowly but steadily in the last few appointments. The doctor/nurse hasn't said anything, but I'm usually about 110/60 religiously, and both systolic and diastolic numbers have been rising...today, 129/72. Guess it's no big deal yet, but for some reason, I'm kind of freaking about everything with this pregnancy.
In 2 weeks I go back for my glucose test.
The week after that I go back for my 27 week check up/NST before I go to PA for custody court (Wonderful, incredible stress there!)
Then I go back in another 3 weeks, then 2, then from 32 weeks on I'll be there every week getting a sonogram to measure baby, plus going to the hospital for NST's every week as well.
For those who do not know, the baby has a Single Umbilical Artery (SUA), which makes him prone to low birth weight/premature labor.
My fiance and I still need to go shopping for everything, and maybe create a registry!? This is his first so I want it to be really special for him, but we're new to the state so we don't know too many people anyway. Nobody in our families know about the baby yet (he's not close to his family, and my family has sided with my ex-husband for custody because they want the kids to stay in PA). My kids don't even know about the baby yet! They'll be really excited (especially because they'll finally have a brother!), but with court coming up I just don't want to say anything yet. I can't wait until it's over with and we can get back to our normal lives!
