It's a little too late now, since I'm here. I'm at a rock concert and it's louder than usual. Now freaking out that I'm going to damage his hearing. What do you ladies think? I'm I risking damaging his hearing? Anyone know?
I know it's not constant sound like at a concert but DH and I went to the shooting range a lot while I was PG with DS and his hearing is just fine. Also this was an indoor range so the noise was louder than if we were outside.
Thanks everyone. I kept telling myself that it was probably fine, he had a lot of cushion, so hopefully it's not loud. We had a great time. Saw a band I know personally, Halestorm, they were great. And one of my favorite bands, Evanescence, was headliner. It was awesome. Frankie got his first band/concert tshirt.
When I was pregnant with DS, I was researching this because I was looking into going to a concert. The site I found put it this way- "The occasional concert is fine unless the band is as loud as Def Leppard." I guess they are known for putting on an extra loud show. Funny thing is I was researching this to go to a Def Leppard concert so I opted not to go lol.
But I'm sure you will be fine. DH and I are going to a concert in a couple weeks for his birthday.
Yes! Omg she was so great!! This was my 11 or 12th time seeing them since 2007. Lol. I used to average 2 or so concerts a month. Evanescence is always so good, they are my favorite band to see live. Have you seen them?
Yeah, I can imagine. I live in Md, so it's pretty nice for shows. I have Baltimore, DC and Philly all pretty close. Did you see them on the Family Values tour in '07? Yeah, the onesie was $20, not cheap, but I had to have it for him and I wasn't buying myself any merch. I usually would not spend that much on baby clothing.
