Ok... so, even with me barely eating anything, I'm gaining weight. My doctor assures me its fine, and she really doesn't care about my weight, and she wants me to gain more. However, I really don't want to! I think that a lot of the reason that I'm gaining although I'm barely eating is because I'm not moving enough. Some days I'm so sick I can't get out of bed. Its sad
So, although we're about 10 days into August right now, I decided to start doing something to exercise daily... as long as my body allows it... every day this month. I started small, and I'm slowly working my way up! At the beginning of the week, I started with about 50 squats (2 sets of 25). And tonight, I did 200 of them! I push myself a little more every day. My legs hurt, and I'm sore, but its worth it
If anyone is interested in joining me, let me know! I can post daily workouts and progressions, as well as encouragement. It won't be anything big or overly strenuous, but something to help us build a bit of muscle and get our bodies moving!

I would join lord knows I need to but I don't really feel comfortable with it since im still getting dizzy fainty spells. Although maybe I should find myself a prenatal yoga or something to at lest remind my muscles they exist.
Being on bed rest I thought I would gain a lot, but I've only gained 3-4 pounds pre-pregnancy weight and my belly is huge.
I wish I could, the only exercise I do is in bed (no, not that kind, dirty minds, that's off limits too ) while laying in bed I cycle for a few minutes just so my legs get circulation. For my arms, I pretend I'm holding weights and press about 10 per arm. After that I'm beat. It feels like I was doing it for hours.
I am not really a fan of squats but I have been trying to walk more with occasional jogs in between. I have DS ride his bike and I follow behind him. If he gets too far ahead I jog to catch up to him. I try to do this as often as I can if I have the time as it keeps him busy and out of trouble and gets me some exercise. He loves riding his bike but is getting so good at it that he is sometimes way to fast for me.
I have a pre-natal yoga video. Its ok... not really my fave though. I will say, its a lot more intense than what I've been doing haha! I just get embarrassed doing the video at home and I catch my gramma watching me a lot. Its weird...
Ok, well, for those that may want to *workout* with me, today I'm going to try some plank holds! This website I found challenges pregnant women (and non-pregos) to do shoulder taps as well. Depending on how my core muscles do, I may try those! This is a very safe exercise for pregnancy. If you decide to try ot, just make sure you're stable!
I was thinking about a DVD but hadn't heard good things about most of them and I feel weird doing it at home too lol so I am going to a class. It's only 8$ a class every wednesday so I think being around other pregnant women and getting some me time will be healthy AND relaxing. Anything to help turn my brain off at this point!
I just saw this! I am totally interested in daily/weekly workouts. I've started putting on the weight and not too happy about it. I've also been super lazy and need to get myself moving. The only workout I get is weekly yoga and daily walks around the neighborhood.
