Has anyone else noticed how loud everyone else in the house is since LO was born?

My daughter turns all the TV's on, her radio, and just generally LOUD with kid stuff. Her and DH bicker back and forth like children. Right now, DH is fussing about the TV remote (he can't find it) and I can hear him upstairs, on the other side the house as if I'm right next to him.

No matter how many times I say to use inside voices or whisper voices (which usually is NORMAL volume), they seem to just get LOUDER.
THE angry uterus likes this.

Yes! My dogs too, which I never even noticed. And funny about the lost remote, exact same thing downstairs today, ha! I'm getting used to it but right when we got home I was so on edge over all the noise. Oddly enough Kata sleeps super great with the loudness.

Yes, I have noticed. I even notice (more so now) my tendancy to get louder when I get excited/frustrated/upset about something. I have to scold myself to use MY inside voice at times... lol
So in love with our Princess Kira Jean!!!

Yup!! Tommy usually sleeps right through it. I've been told this will make him a sounder sleeper... let's hope!

I was surprised at how conditioned baby George was to the sounds of DS's LOUD tractors, toys, and play. I did catch myself falling into the Shhhhhh!! The baby's sleeping mode, but really, if he's going to wake up, it probably isn't just from the noise, so I've been trying to cut back on telling DS to be quiet (unless he's in the same room where George is sleeping).
