Just in the last 30-40 minutes my left side right below my ribs has started killing me, just out of nowhere. Its that cramping feeling you get when you've been running a lot.
It hurts to the point of doubling over to move or try to stretch it out.
Hoping the heating pad will work cause this hurts.
I'm not concerned at all because it just feels like round ligament pain I had before but oh

Sorry I wanted to whine to the people who would know how I feel.

I get that.. Dr said its the muscles attached to your ribs being stretched, in combination with everything being pushed up as your uterus expands and grows pushing up on your ribcage
The only thing that helps me is rest and lots of water....

Sorry you get to deal with it!!! It seriously hurts!!!

Ok now that you mention it, I had that a bit last night, too. It was while I was walking back to the car and I was trying to keep up with DH, who as many times as I tell him he walks too fast for me now, he stills does it every time, and I figured it was from that but it really wasn't all that fast or that far. So now I'm wondering if it's the same thing that you had. Hmm.

I have the same type of cramping going on too... in fact I was about to start a thread on it..... Sound like RLP to me as well....

BTW I heard that using a heating pad is not a good idea cause although we can regulate our temps, the baby can not..... has anyone else heard this as well????

My OB told me that it was okay as long as its on the lowest setting and only for intervals of 15 minutes then off for 30-45 minutes. Its not recommended directly across the belly, if needed put a towel or blanket to absorb some of the heat. But on the side or back is okay in those short intervals.

I am so sorry you are going through that! I have pain like that almost every night. I hate it, it's so horrible! I have horrible RLP all day every day. Anytime I move it feels like my body is being torn into pieces.
