Thought this would be fun: What food items that are pregnancy NO-NO's are you excited to eat again?

I can't wait to have a Roast Beef sandwich with onions and horseradish and an Alaska Roll.

Why aren't you eating Roast Beef if I might ask.

Most of the do not eat foods aren't really a staple for me anyways, so I haven't had to cut out much. I still have a medium rare steak on "rare" occasions. What I'm really looking forward to is a nice glass of red wine.

I've been eating roast beef sandwiches all along. It's my main craving other than tuna, which I've also been eating.

Probably a nice turkey sandwich. I craved that with my last pregnancy and that was the first thing I ordered at the hospital after delivery. I had a turkey sandwich and a Coke! It wasn't even that good, so I was disappointed Oh and a lemondrop martini sounds nice, but I don't drink while BFing, so that will be at least a year after Cameron is born.

Sashimi!!! Missing my raw fish soooo badly. I'm sure it will be my first post-baby meal like last time.

I could go for an alcoholic drink, too. A medium-rare steak would be on the list too!

An Alaska roll doesn't have any raw fish in it. Just smoked salmon. Are you staying away because of the smoked salmon? I cheat on stuff like that, lol. Need my sushi!

I was told no sushi due to cross contamination & no deli meats unless I cooked them first.
(It's my first so I'm probably more cautious than necessary.)

I want to be able to put gorgonzola cheese on my salad.
I haven't eaten any tuna, but I crave it! I will probably give in and have some soon though.

I think I'm more excited to brush my teeth & not gag more than anything!

A nice trukey sandwich will be wonderful - even a chef salad!

And, the occasional after work beverage with my coworkers on a stressful day. Definitely missing that!!

I don't eat seafood ever, so that's not an issue and I still eat deli meat... So the only thing I am excited to have is a glass of wine... But I won't have any until we are done breastfeeding.

Sushi & wine. I've actually given up all sea food, which is a huge part of my normal diet, since it makes me ill so I will be happy to eat any sort of fish again.

I haven't really had to avoid foods I like or crave. I'm not a big drinker, so I don't miss alcohol. I have been staying away from coffee, so I can't wait to have a cup or three of really strong, hot coffee.

A nice glass of wine or a cup of caffeinated coffiee. I know we are allowed a little caffeine, but I personally cut it out.

I would like a really nice alcoholic beverage. I don't restrict on foods while pregnant. But the alcoholic beverage will have to wait until nursing is established and I get good long chunks of sleep out of him, lol!

Nothing really because I don't restrict much. Seeing how I have GD I don't eat too much sugary things and I don't eat much pasta. I am Italian so I usually love my pasta. I do miss it from time to time but for most of the pregnancy pasta has been an aversion I have had.
