I got to meet one of the other midwives in the office today. And I love her! She's wonderful!!!
Appointment went well. Got to go over the ultrasound I had at 20 weeks.
According to that u/s Meve appears to be a girl (lol so two u/s with appears to be a girl).
Everything looks good, cept my placenta is anterior (which expains why I havent been feeling alot of kicks) and it a titch low, so I have another u/s between 28-32 weeks to check if its moved up.
I also have my req for my GD test to take in a couple weeks. She was very nice about it, and made it clear I wouldnt be looked down on for not testing. Im choosing to (simply becuase I do have a family history of adult onset (due to poor diet) so I figured why not.)
I also paid my deposit for my Hypnobabies course! The date got moved forward, and so starts Sept 8th!
I cant wait.
I also havent gained any weight this month (though last week I did LOL appearently I gained and then lost 3lbs in a week).
Glad you had a great appointment! Hooray for starting hypnobabies in a few weeks
Hopefully the placenta will creep up these next couple of weeks and everything will be normal with your GD test. I'm also concerned because of family history, even though I haven't gained much (4lbs). My tiny grandmother had it with all of her pregnancies and I have several relatives with diabetes (diet related), so I know I predisposed to it.

Kinda a silly question... But it can't be all that low lying if it's anterior right?
There were no measurements on how low lying it was, but as I lay here trying to fall asleep.... My mind keeps wondering just how low it was seeing as it was aso anterior....
Well it just means it's in front so if it's low in the front, it COULD hinder the baby moving by. But, they didn't seem concerned enough not to go forward with the classes and such and they do usually move up and out of the way. When baby Meve's head is down there it'll be crowding it up and out of the way more than likely. No worries unless you NEED to worry
