With my first, I dont think I had much hip or pelvic pain at all. I remember being pretty comfortable even working up to when she was born at nearly 40 weeks.

With my second, I did get some pain starting at around 30 wks and it just got worse from there but it was never intolerable.

This time? O.M.G. For the last month I have been in extreme hip and pelvic pain almost all the time! It gets worse if I walk or bend over a lot (like cleaning up the millions of toys in this house lol). I went grocery shopping last night for an hour and oh my word, I didnt think Id be able to make it to the check out line, I was hurting so bad. Its my hips, pelvic area is so sore, and my lower back. This baby is only, what, like a pound???? How is he doing this to me?!??!?! lol I really cant imagine what it will be like at 9 months. Im going to be bedridden at this rate!!!

Anyone else hurting this early????

I am experiencing the same exact pain! My doctor told me its round ligament pain. It is so horrible. Since I'm on bed rest I don't move around a lot, but I think that just makes it worse. I can't even stand to turn over in bed :-(

I've had a few aches and pains, but nothing major and nothing that lasts very long. Have you considered going to a chiropractor? I think that's one of the reasons I haven't had much pain, he has to do a bunch of work on my pelvic region every time I go.

I hope you feel better soon!

I am having a lot of pain in my mid/lower back, more-so on the left side. It just kills me constantly. It doesn't matter how many massages I get. I have thought about going to a chiropractor but then I chicken out.

I have had the same problem but I thought it was just because I am having two...it all started when both turned head down. But it hurts no matter what I do. I was told to try a chiropractor but my insurance won't cover it and they are not cheap here. I just take tylonal and try to rest as much as I can

Yup, Ive been hurting like this for weeks now. With my first I had it but MUCH later. I feel like Im waddling around wincing like did at 8 or 9 months the first time, and I dont even look very pregnant yet! Its so intense, I wondered if the babys position has an effect. Right now, this one is breech, 12 oz, and facing my spine and Ive been hurting for hours

I've been having Sciatica and Round Ligament pain on and off. Mostly plagues my left side. Two nights ago the RLP was killing me.
Hope you start feeling better soon or find something to relieve it.
Have you thought of trying one of those pelvic support belts?

My back has been KILLING me all day everyday for the last 2 weeks. Its been really bad for the last 2 days. I haven't really been sleeping because of it. I just cant get comfortable at all. I didn't think it would get this bad until later and the baby was a lot bigger. I had an u/s yesterday & the tech said she is almost 2lbs but that doesn't seem like too much. I'm dreading the pain I'm gunna be in when she's bigger.

Ugh, I am in pain too! My sciatica came back again and it hurts so bad that I can hardly go up the stairs at the end of the day. I need to get in to see an acupuncturist soon, but it's all out of pocket so DH and I are trying to solve it with massage, hot and cold compress and stretching. I don't know how I'm going to deal with this if it continues through the rest of the pregnancy either.

Yep, I have pretty significant pelvic girdle pain (PGP, sometimes referred to as symphysis pubis dysfunction or SPD). I go to see a physical therapist and I have exercises to do every day to try to strengthen the muscles which in turn will help take the place of the ligaments that have stretched too far already. It's probably worse for you now than in your previous pregnancies because your body is more efficient at stretching everything out now. Mine started after I pulled a muscle in my groin. There is lots of information online about the condition, and it's best to find a physical therapist who is trained in realigning the pelvis to keep everything stable. You can also try a support band (even this early!) to help with the pain.

Just tonight I've started having pain across my lower abdomen/pelvis. I'm not sure if its from all my sitting while driving today or the I had to hold my bladder a few times for way too long.
But then again it could be because my tummy doesnt feel that great.
Ah the joys of trying to figure out bodies out during pregnancy. Such a mystery!!
