A friend shared this w/ me when I had Nathan and I forgot about until today when Abby had a major blow out. To get out the yellow/orange BF stools, wash w/ water everything you can get out of it and then sit in the sun for a few hours (before putting in washer and dryer, once it goes through the dryer, it's usually stuck). Just when it seems there is no way that stain is ever coming out, it literally just disappears. I know you could probably use stain remover but this works completely and exposes baby to less chemicals. I thought I'd pass it along to help everyone. Sorry I don't post more but I do try to read what you post. I usually have about 10 min. a day of computer time between the two kids and hubby. Love you all.

Thanks Lucy S for my siggy

I usually throw my poo clothes in the wash with dirty diapers. Wash them asap, an no stains.

thanks for sharing! I will definitely try this, but it might be a problem in the winter. My 2 year old has very sensitive skin so when he was younger I stopped using stain removers all together and just gave up.

I bought some used cloth diapers, sunned them, and the very faint stains completely disappeared

Sunning works great, but if you have set in stains, Oxyclean really does get them out! I pulled out DS1's baby clothes in prep for DS2 and found a stains I'd missed (poo and set in bm protein stains that developed in storage). I soaked them overnight in a concentrated oxyclean soak and all the dried in, three year old stains came out!

I have to try this. I noticed one sleeper stayed with a stain after washing. I didn't hand wash it, DH did and didn't get all the stuff out.

❤ Big Thanks to Vicki, trishosaurus, & Shortcake for the great siggies of my kids! ❤

I do sunning in the summer, but in the winter Oxyclean is great. I just spray on the stain and throw it in the wash whenever I get to the next load. Works even on set in stains that I missed.

I'm sunning my cloth diapers right now. Winter is on it's way and it will be pretty hard to do then.
