For those of you who have and use a manual pump... what kind do you have?? I HATED my electric pump... and after some recommendations I bought a manual. I went with the Lansinoh and I think I'm already going to try another. I get about 1.5oz to 2 oz total each time I pump but I feel like it's losing suction. I have to readjust mid pumping to get things flowing again

LOVE my medela hand pump. Even more than my electric one.

I got the lansinoh one too and it was god awful, I dont understand all the glaringly positive reviews on Amazon. I went with a single electric medela after that so I'm no help.

I have the Phillips Avent pump and it works really well for me. It's also quiet easy to clean just rinse out the parts after use and run them in the dishwasher.

Take pump reviews with a grain of salt because every woman is different.

Shaun went out this morning to get me a manual one - we have an electric one on order from Amazon but it hasn't come yet. He got a Tommee Tippee one which was on special offer, I've expressed with it 3 times and it's getting lots and really easy to use. But I agree, every woman is different so different pumps may work better for different people.

I love a manual. I use an Avent manual and have since 2008 with all 3 kids. I'm on my 3rd one as we speak! (One with each kid)

I have the Lansinoh manual. It's what I use when I am at births. I've used it since 2009 and it's been great. I don't require lots of stimulation though. Once my milk lets down, I simply just start the suction and let my milk flow.
