So I was wondering... when I make up the formula for Elias, it's 2oz water to 1 scoop of powder. But even though it's 2 oz water, when mixed it's more like 2 1/2 formula in the bottle. So when I make 4oz water and 2 scoops, it turns into more like 5oz of formula. So how do you count that? When he drinks the 4oz water/powder mix, should I say he drank 4oz or 5oz?
Wait until it settles and isn't bubbly at the top anymore, and count the oz by the total volume, formula and water mixed. My son was completely formula fed, this is what I went by, and he was never poorly from wrongly mixed formula. Hope this helps.
