I would think so. I still have to get my 1 hour glucose test done. When I had my last ob appointment & was told it was time for that, I was told to fast for 3 hours before. I asked if I was able to drink water, because I am always SOOO thirsty! She said yes I could drink water, and even tho your going for the 3 hour, I would think you can drink water. Water has no sugar or anything in it, so I cant see how it would affect the test, and we're always being told to drink plenty of water cuz dehydration is bad. Call your ob, or the lab your getting the test done at & ask them. Good luck today!

Hmm, I would sure think so. I can't see how water would affect what they're testing. I think she told me I'm allowed water for mine. I hope so, because I'm so thirsty in the mornings.

Water has no sugar or carbohydrates, there should be no issues with having some water!!
