I know we discussed this recently with Raina's post. But I feel too crappy to try to find it (I know, I'm that lazy right now). What did we decide is the best way to deal with this stuffy nose, congestion, cough situation??? I'm already on the sinus rinse (which I didn't bring to the shore this weekend & I think is the reason why I got sick).
Are Ricola's safe?
Are teas safe? I looked up my favorite Tazo teas in the beginning (Wild Sweet Orange and Passion Tea - and both contained herbs on the "not-safe during pregnancy" list). What about green tea?? What about boring decaf Lipton??
I'm also drinking enough water to drown an elephant. So hopefully that will help....
Colds during pregnancy suck! If you can't find a tea, I like hot water with a lemon wedge, it helps a sore throat and congestion, esp if you keep it under your nose and breathe in the steam. Sleeping with a humidifier seemed to help too.
