Hi ladies is was wondering if anyone else i having issues healing after their episiotomy - i have like a bump or lump at the end of my scar, i only noticed it this week but its getting painful. i checked with a mirror and its not a different color (compared to the rest of the scar) or inflamed or anything so i dont think its an infection - its just a bump. I'm going for my 6 week check on monday so i will ask my doctor then but was wondering if anyone else here is having/has had the same issue.

Mine has a bump too but it's not really painful. It's more kind of itchy. I don't go for my six week until Thurs. so if you find something out, let me know.

Thanks Lucy S for my siggy

I have with both. I just ignored it to be honest. It never caused a problem.

You might have just caught it where you have the bump. I had an episiotomy with Daniel and mine was raised for a long time and would get randomly itchy or sore at times. It never got infected and whenever I mentioned it to the HV or even showed the doctor on one occasion they said it was fine.
