Yes yes and yes!! Both kids love being read to. I do it throughout the day too. Miabelle loves Green Eggs and Ham and Atticus loves the Jonah and the Fish book.

Yep. Kid the First has a 30-minute book time every night before bed, so it's the whole family on the floor. With a compulsive reader for a mother, both these kids are going to have gigantic libraries before they even get to school!

My mother reads to her a lot more than I do. She has a squishy cloth book that she likes to gnaw on. I wouldn't classify that as reading though.

I have books for her, but she's not interested in reading them - more interested in chewing on them is more like it...
