I have been sick. It seemed like a cold at first but I woke up at 4 am and my chest was burning. I've been coughing so hard that it makes me pee. I saw my doc on Tuesday but I have gotten worse so I called the doc and in turn he called in a script for a 5 day course of Azithromtycin. As long as what I have is bacterial I should start feeling better soon. I'm not sure he did a strep test Tuesday and it came back as viral then again its happened to me before having a cold turn into something worse. However, It has been years since I have taken any antibiotics and I'm wondering if anyone here has taken this while preggo? I know a few of us are sick. I'm just wondering if the possible side effects are worse when your pregnant. Most of all I'm hoping the antibiotics work, tummy issues or not. I don't think being sick like this is good for the baby.

I'm really not sure, but I hope you feel better!!!

This pregnancy I've been sick too and it definitely feels much worse than if when I'm not pregnant.

I'm sorry you have been so sick! The Z-packs are fine during pregnancy. Hopefully it helps you feel better. Don't forget to eat lots of yogurt! You don't want a yeast infection on top of it all!
