We travel a lot. I alone do a lot of short trips during the week to keep us occupied. As a family we went to 5 h and 12 h distance. So far we have not missed anything.. Oh no.. wait, I forgot wipes when we went to the Zoo this summer.. lol.
The trips went well. Tristan was still a tiny baby 5 and 6 weeks.
I keep my diaper bag in the car at all times. i check my supplies on sundays to make sure im prepared for the week. i keep wipes, diapers, extra clothes for her and for my boys. extra baby bottle, pacifier, bottles of water and a powdered formula dispenser. snacks and entertainment (crayons, nintendo ds, books) for the older kiddos
school days, i have to pick my youngest up at 2 and then we have to sit for 45mins before my oldest is out, so i gotta be prepared at all times.
Zia is all over town with me on week days. We traveled to Boston and back earlier this month. We stopped at a hotel on the way there, but drove straight home. It took us 22 hours to get home with stops. She wanted to nurse a lot, but did awesome. Our trip could have been a lot faster if we hadn't stopped so much for her, but all 3 kids needed time out of their seats. I packed way too many clothes for her. But she had been spitting up a ton and I was expecting a lot of diaper blow outs since she was in sposies while we were gone. She'll be traveling to Dallas with us in just over a month. She's also been to both grandparents' houses, but only stayed over at one. The other just moved back into their house last week after the fire in may.
Thank you peimum for my siggie
