I tested normal (11.8) at 28 Weeks when the hemoglobin check is normally done, but in the last couple of weeks I've started feeling like something was off. Tired, headaches, etc. I asked for a recheck, and boy is it a good thing I did. I tested at 6.8!! We're working really hard at boosting it up fast, and praying the baby stays put until I hit at least 11 again. If you all would pray we can get it up fast, we would really appreciate it. With it this low I am at high risk for a severe hemorrhage again.

Good for you that you were so proactive. I hope baby stays put and buys you some time!

Wow! Why didn't they test you again? I thought it was normal to retest at 35 weeks. Good for you for being in tune with your body.

Depends on where you are. The only "policy" one is the 28 week check when you do the GTT.

Praying it gets up for you nice and quick; eat lots of green leaves and liver (if you like it).
