The more I think about it...the more I'd REALLY love to buy my own and wear that at the hospital to deliver in. So my question is do any of you ladies know of a place to get a comfortable, and dare I even ask, cute one?

Prettypushers.com has the prettier, cheaper gowns(loathe the name btw). They are $24 & $28 because they are supposed to be throw away when you're done with it but you can wash it and save it for another birth. There are sturdier gowns everywhere that cost quite a bit more. I know there are tons on etsy.com also. Search birthing gowns

I got the pretty pushers one and it is comfy!! Very light and airy with lots of access for the doctors/nurses to monitor baby or give an epidural. It's a t-shirt material and the price was great. It also comes with a matching headband.

awesome. thanks ladies! i'll look at these and probly end up getting one.

If i had it my way I'd deliver at home and what i wore wouldn't be an issue however, military bases determine your birth for you. so i have no say, i figure the least they can do is let me wear my OWN sanctioned gown. not one they wash again and again for people. even if they use bleach! D:
