So my feet have started swelling pretty bad especially the top part. My Dr checked it out yesterday and said it's normal so at least that's good. My problem is trying to find comfortable shoes now for work. At home Im fine barefoot or in my slippers, but Im still working in a professional setting so not sure what to do. I have some moccasin type I have been wearing, but even those are too tight now on top. My flip flops are ok but not work appropriate. I went to Target and Kohls today and everything is fall/winter fashion so lots of closed toe. Just frustrated and not sure what to try. This past week I have been wearing my slip ons and taking them off when I am not seeing patients and can continue this, but then my feet get cold. Socks are another problem cause they cut off my circulation and make the swelling worse. Grr just annoying and guess I can deal with it for 6 more weeks with work (if I last that long.) Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated or thanks for just letting me vent.

Yeah...I feel ya! My feet aren't swelling, but I broke my pinkie toe last week and all my shoes are killing me. The only thing that doesn't hurt my feet are my teva flip flops and bare feet. Getting a little cold for those two options and don't think my bosses would appreciate that fashion choice anyway
The shoes I wear the most, even though they hurt a bit are my merrell clogs. Love em normally, but at least now they are tolerable.
Good luck...hopefully someone chimes in!

My feet and legs are so stolen that I had to big new shoes last weekend. I bought a pair of BOBS because they have a way to adjust them on the back unlike toms. They are pretty comfy too. I had my rain boots on yesterday and had to dump lotion down the leg part and smoosh it around so I could pry them off.

Try to find something wide. Maybe a pair of wide TOMS?

What about ballet flats? They are open at the top, so that should help with your top swelling. Sorry to hear about the swelling issue.
