Just wondering what everyone thinks of their stretch marks if you have them? My entire lower belly is covered from above the belly button down to my pubic bone and all across the width of my belly. I have to admit I thought since I was overweight I wouldn't have as many marks since I was already big but boy was I wrong!
Put me on team tiger stripes I also had this fervent hope that since I was bigger already that I had more room to stretch or something lol. Didn't work that way unfortunately. I have a lot on the sides mostly. They don't bother me a ton but aren't my favorite thing.
I have no new ones yet but a LOT of old ones. Last time I only got a couple of runners and one on my lady parts. I too am one of the overweight who still seems to get them despite having plenty of extra skin to fill but it always wants new skin lol I'm going to need about 100K to fix all of the things pregnancy has done to me over the years...teeth jacked, belly skin, boob job(including fixing lop-sided boobs!). And then I still have to pay for all of these dang kids too! lol

I look like a tiger attacked me from almost the top of my bump to the bottom. I never would have thought they would get this bad. I even have some on my back where I am now stretching thanks to baby b thinking he needs more space and baby a not giving any that way...but I have always been fat so it's not like I would be seen in a two piece anyway lol
Yah they don't bother me, I've been doing the Bio Oil but more because it keeps me from being itchy I'd never be seen in a 2 piece either, I just thought in this situation being fluffy would have helped!
I'm going to have to try and see my back or get DH to tell me if there are any there, not that he'd be honest
I've been lucky (so far...knock on wood...lol). So far none with my three kids, we will see if this one will be as kind. From what I've read its all about genetics, not the size you were prepreg. You skin either tolerates the stretching well or it doesn't. I don't think there are any preventions. I agree those creams and lotions just take away the itchyness from the skin stretching, but won't actually prevent stretch marks. Just my two cents
I have them! I also thought since i was bigger before getting pregnant that i'd be less likely to get them while pregnant. i was wrong! lol but since i have some from being overweight that have faded i'm not too worried about them. i'm actually not that concerned with them. i'll still rock a bikini one day. i hope. lol i'm working my butt off after alex gets here.
None from this pregnancy. I have a few on my hips from gaining weight in high school and then losing it all after. But they are so light you can't even see them unless you stretch my skin out in the light. I an very fair and not prone to anything like this so I'm crossing my fingers I don't get them.
