we have the mesh breathable ones because she was starting to spin and got her legs caught (our crib is narrower than usual, she's almost longer than it is wide)

I have one but its only for decoration purposes and only because it was given to me and happened to match my bedding set.

Raini isn't rolling yet, so its not a problem.

my oldest had a bumper and as soon as he learned how to roll he'd roll to it and lift it up, i couldnt keep it tied onto the crib, so I took it out afraid he'd somehow get caught up in it.

my second son had one since it came with his bedding set, and i kept it in the crib until he learned he could pull up and stand on it, managing to get himself stuck between the crib rail and bumper pad.

yes.. it was my boys that made me mental.

Yup, I went out and spent a fortune on a Pottery Barn one that is just decoration (I didn't KNOW that at the time...I thought every baby needed a bumper...didn't know they weren't good...oy).

Because he has reflux, we elevated his head while he slept and by the end of the night, he would have traveled to the bottom of the mattress, perpendicular - I was so scared he'd bang his head...

One of the girls recommended a breathable bumper like Bethany has for Pippa and it's awesome! I feel so much better with him in there with something to cushion him!

Yes I bought one that came with the nursery set-up. I didn't know about how Bumpers weren't good so now it's off the crib. (But not like my baby sleeps in there yet anyways lol)

Yes, the crib set I found had one in there and I thought it was really cute so I put it in. Ethan does move around in his sleep, but we've never had a problem with it. I didn't know they weren't safe either when I got it. But I keep a pretty close eye on him and check on him several times while he's asleep. He's never put his face anywhere near it.
