When will you pack the baby and your hospital bag? I'm starting to think of it now that I'm in the 30 week mark! ekkk. I probably will start throwing some stuff together but I will have it ready come 34-35 weeks I think.

Yeah for sure! There a lot I will not be able to pack until I'm in labor. Like tooth brush, hair brush etc.

Confession: My bag is already mostly packed. I've already got my new (and laundered) pajamas, robe, slipper socks, nursing bra, nursing shirt, and baby stuff packed. I'll wait until I'm in labor to throw in my toiletry stuff. But otherwise, it's packed, sitting on the changing table and ready to roll.

DH asked me last week when I was planning on leaving him.
Clearly, he jests, but he wasn't jesting when he then followed up with the question about where his bag was. (Dude...seriously. For once - pack your own bag!)

I was just thinking of this the other day! I have pinned a few lists on pinterest but since we are going to a birth center we do not stay overnight.

I kept saying oh I will when it gets closer, I guess I better start thinking more into it since I'm 31 weeks tomorrow.
Probably wont actually pack until closer to 34-35 weeks just because it will have quite a bit of stuff I use all the time in it.

I probably will pack Samantha's bag here shortly though.
And then DH's will be last to be packed since it wont take much.

I plan on packing in early labor I'll have the list of what I'll be taking and everything will be easy to get to, so I won't need to go searching. A friend of mine did it this way and she said it was a very nice distraction to get her through some of those long "WILL IT EVER BE TIME TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL?" moments. If I happen to not be able to make it home before going to the hospital, or labor happens to go very fast, then DH also has access to the list and can get everything since we only live a few minutes from the hospital.

I packed all my stuff that is only for labor that I don't use day to day. I am going to start on baby laundry soon and then get her things that we have so far packed and such. I am also going to hit up the store sometime this week and buy mini versions of all my toiletries and toss in our extra phone charger in the bag and stuff like that.

Good question! I made my list, but need to actually start buying the things I want to take that I don't have yet. I think I'll probably start packing around this time next month, for the things I don't use every day and then will just add those things in when early labor starts.

I will be packing soon. I have a scheduled induction but with twice weekly NSTs starting next week, who knows when I will head straight to the hospital after an appt. DH can just bring it already packed. I also buy extra toiletries and such so that I can pack everything before hand and not have to worry about grabbing this or that as I go out the door (or risk DH forgetting something if he has to go home and grab it.)
