Knock on wood, but I've actually been sleeping better the last several weeks than I did in 2nd tri. I had been constantly waking up to switch sides, but not so much anymore. I get up once most nights for a bathroom break but am able to fall right back asleep. So no complaints right now!
Cassie, wife to Andrew, mommy to Sophia and expecting baby Landon in Feb!
i sleep an average of 2-3 and wake up for about an hour to an hour and a half. and repeat. pretty sure that's because i'm in so much pain when i move. but i'm lucky enough to be able to stay home and veg on the couch til DH gets home.
I wake twice to pee, at least five times to roll over and kick hubby to stop snoring, and at least twice due to mother in law coming or going....... And then if the coyotes start howling outside my poor dogs go nuts! I don't keep track of how many hours it would be depressing!
I'm actually sleeping pretty good these days... I've got my pillow/nest situation figured out, the cooler temperatures are letting me be much more comfortable, I'm down to getting up once or twice to pee and the new humidifier we got has helped with my congestion! Most nights I get a pretty solid seven or eight hours...
I sleep really well until about 3... Then I'm up until 6 or 7. Even if I don't actually get up out of bed, I'm still awake for that entire time. It gets SO boring. DH, who usually stays up until the wee hours of the morning, has been going to bed early lately.
I seem to be doing better than I was a few weeks ago! I was literally waking up every hour to pee, but over the past week or so I have been able to get 3 hour stretches in there! I don't know if the baby has changed positions and there's less pressure on my bladder or what - but I am sure enjoying it!!!
I dont ever need to get up to wee but I wake every couple of hours to turn over. Also... dont laugh... I still suck my thumb at night and its hard to breath at the moment so thats waking me too.
I really should quit before LO copies me haha.
