Friday DH and I went to War Eagle, the biggest arts and crafts fair in the state. We saw people from as far away from Washington and Virginia there. There were people everywhere and it was a fight to get through the crowds but we had a good time. Friday night Jarrett had a Halloween/Birthday party for one of his friends at school. 20+ screaming, wild 8 and 9 year olds was not my idea of fun but with all of the problems he has I dont leave him like most parents do. Saturday was the huge consignment sell and I shopped from 4 to almost 9. I was able to get a ton of baby stuff but I still have so much more to get. Sunday morning I had to help out in childrens church and then had to leave before our class started since Jarretts medicine is making him sick. It was a full weekend and today I am totally wiped out.
On Saturday, I did a pool day at the local resort with my girlfriends but it was cold! We ended up sitting in the cabana pretty much the entire time, but it was a blast sitting around chatting all day. Meanwhile, the contractor was busy putting in our new bathroom at home.
Sunday, it was totally raining, so our picnic with a club I'm a part of was cancelled so we took the kids to this children's expo instead. OMG, after 3 hours of walking around, my feet were so swollen! I was pretty much worthless the rest of the day, but managed to do some of the drywall repair on the bathroom (I'm painting it myself).
The only thing baby related was that I transferred my names list to a piece of paper and put it in my wallet to take to the hospital. I'm 34 weeks now - time to start prepping stuff for the big day!
Not to much. We BBQ'd fri night, the guys had a couple of drinks in them so I went to the store for a "beer run" I LOVED the looks I was getting but hey, I would rather drive and get it, then let them drive and get it.
On sat we had some good friends over for dinner and just hung out. Sunday stayed home and did laundry.
Didn't do anything interesting this weekend. Been trying to get everything finished. Did lots of laundry. I guess it's baby related since I am going on this cleaning/organization spree because I am finally off bedrest since Sunday I hit the 34 week mark and my dr won't stop labor and feels the twins will be safe...
