so today is the DH birthday..... and I have a confession.... I totally forgot to even get a card !!! I am such a slack a** lately. I even walked through the card isle in target yesterday!
But the real reason it was a good thing i wasn't sleeping naked was my MIL walks in our bedroom at 7 a.m. this morning (we don't get up till 8)! Seriously is there no privacy??? thankfully she left for work and i was able to give the hubby some birthday love .
But about 7:10 his sister calls his phone..... again we do not get up till 8...... and now they are all hounding me about what we are doing tonight. they all wanna get together i guess, but i am thinking a movie just me and him
I added it up yesterday and only about 14 more weekend days till we are no longer just the two of us!
Oh and (TMI)
with the IVD (increased vaginal discharge) i couldn't sleep naked if i wanted to
I wonder if I'm the only one that hides when I eat something like little debbie cakes because I don't want to share with my toddler? Because I ate some little debbie cakes in the bathroom this morning because I didn't want to share with Matthew. :/
I totally do that, Daffney. I'll try to sneak in a sweet snack while DH is giving DD a bath or something...It's just way easier than having to share and/or come up with the accompanying milk/water/juice that she subsequently requests - particularly if it's the last one of said sweet thing. In my defense...I do share everything else pretty much all of the time - including my personal space, bathroom time, beverages, food, etc...nothing is sacred (or strictly YOURS) any longer when you're a mommy.
Amelia - does your MIL live with you? I have to admit...I have a hard time feeling sorry for your earlier than 8 a.m. wake up call today. (That's what happens when you have to get up at 6 a.m. for work...)
