I fasted all dang day and finally took care of my GD test so I'll get the results tomorrow maybe. My appointment was great. Started with an US which was awesome. She's very much still a she and is up to 4lbs. 10ozs. Not great pics as usual(I think they have a crappy machine) but she was looking quite cute. Head & leg measurements normal(big heads run in my family and short legs run in dh's) and all else is normal also. She's breech with her bum by my cervix and legs up which is fine since it's a repeat c-section.
Saw my midwife who was hilarious. We were all three(me, her & dh) cackling really loud in the exam room. Dh saw a drawing of a pregnant belly w/ boobs on the chart and didn't know what it was so he asked. She told him then clarified by drawing on nipples lol. Then further clarified by drawing a bush LOL. Real mature hehe. Then she starts telling me about this thing on the internet called the Wall of Vagina that I should look up because it's interesting, and it is. It's an artist that made casts of women's vaginas and made walls out of them to exhibit. He said he did it because women don't like what they look like and are getting vaginal rejuvenation because they don't look like what they see in porn. Well I looked it up and it is interesting(check it out on youtube if you want to). The main point of my midwife was that SHE knows they all look different but that many women do not. Made me feel better about my lady parts. lol
So I go back in two weeks and hopefully I will be free of this dang GD stuff that's been looming this whole pregnancy. Oh and I gained back the weight I had lost at my last appointment so I'm still down a lot but on the upswing which is great. I'll try to post my US pics in the next hour
Thanks She is quite funny. The two midwives alternate appointments and I always love when I get this one. So down to earth, funny and takes her time. I've had issues with my midwives not communicating and other stuff too but they are both being pretty great now so I'm much happier. My appointments always take a long time due to my medications(had to stop some & coming off of others) so they do take their time and that's great. Anyway, I haven't heard back about the GD test yet so maybe no news is good news. I'm still trying to scan pics but my scanner doesn't work to my computer(only dh's and his computer sucks) so I may have to just take pics of them. I'll keep trying. Thanks again!
