Ran across these on Pinterest, and thought they sounded interesting.

Has anyone heard of, or used these?
New moms, would you consider this useful?
If you've tried them, are they worth the effort?

I don't know if homemade ones are worth it. I did buy a box of peripads from Amazon though because she's right about the relief. It's a definite necessity.

I remember someone posted about padsicles a while ago on here. I completely forgot about them. The first week pp I made ice packs with a ziplock bag, crushed ice, and paper towels (wrap it several times with paper towels). Then I would stick it in my underwear directly on top of my pad.

I would say either an ice pack of some kind or a cold pad is a MUST for the first few days.

They make them and use them at my hospital. I only used them right after I delivered, but they sure felt good and helped!

I used them until I was completely healed. I also had a forcep delivery, so I think I was also bruised so they really felt great. I just ran my pads under water then stuck them in the freezer. I went through a ton but they really felt great. lol
