Whos LOs are eating solids and what have they tried? what don't they like? What do they love?

Last week I just introduced McKinley to some food. We have the baby bullet, in love with that! I made her some Sweet Potatoes last week as her first introduction to food. She gobbled it down, she loves those!
You can witness her first taste of it here.. --> Trying First Pureed Solid Foods! - YouTube

And today I will be making her some avocados for the week. Can't wait to see her reaction to those!

After trying sweet potatoes she will not eat cereal anymore. So her dislike is cereal so far. Her love is sweet potatoes!

I have done cereal, apples, a bit of broccoli and sweet potatoes today. My little man is not in love with any of them, but handles OK cereal mixed with apples. I can't wait to have him taste more foods so I can mix thing and make better tasting meals for him. Here in QC, Canada they came out with a new feeding schedule for babies and they are now recommending starting with meats. My doctor said to play around with veggies till 6 months and definitely start meats then.

Oh wow never heard of meats first!! Interesting!

We tried the avocados tonight.. After a few tries from the spoon, she decided she didn't like it and started spitting them all over the place LOL.

Amelia has had a few tastes of carrots, sweet potatoes, avocado, and peaches... she didn't really love any of them.. i think we may be skipping purees like Rylan did and go straight to real food.

Ethan is still on cereal. He has tried brown rice and oatmeal. He hasn't really shown a preference to either. I think we are goin to try barley and white rice over the next couple of weeks till the dr gives us the go ahead for veggies. I can't wait to try them!

We did give him a lemon that was on my water glass when we went out to eat the other day. I was hoping for a sour face, but to my surprised he liked it! He just sat there and sucked on it lol.

Addy has tried sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, apples, and bananas. She has loved the sweet potatoes, carrots, and bananas. She is ok with the apples, but makes faces when she eats them, she didn't care too much for squash, but we will try that again in a week or so. She tried oatmeal and didn't like it, so I am going to try to mix it with the apples and/or bananas to give it a sweeter taste since we have an entire box of it. We are going for the peaches sometime this week.

Pax is an omnivore.
- Barley
- Oatmeal
- Oatmeal w/banana
- Apples
- Apples w/cherries
- Green beans
- Peas
- Carrots
- Sweet Potatoes
- Mixed vegetables
- Peaches
- Bananas

He definitely prefers veggies to fruit. No meat yet...not ready for those BMs methinks.
