Sorry i have taken so long to update but with having baby and christmas plays etc at school with my children things have been so hectic
I had my beautiful baby girl who we have called Kayleigh Leona Maund on 7th December at 9:07pm 2 days after my due date. I had to go into be induced in the end due to my diabetes but all they did was break my waters for me. I failed to progress from there on even though the contractions were one on top of the other for hours my cervix didnt want to dilate. I was checked at 9pm as they thought i maybe ready to push as there was no let up in the pains to be then told i was only 3cm dilated, i could have cried i was in so much pain. They started setting up a drip to get things moving quicker but before they even had chance to connect it i had the urge to push and 7 minutes after being told i was 3cm i gave birth to my beautiful baby girl. The cord was wrapped around her neck so was a scary few minutes but all was ok in the end. I am so in love with her and she is such an easy baby and sleeps brilliant at night.
She really is the best christmas present ever
Congratulations to all who have had their babies and good luck to all still waiting xxx
