Not sure what is going on. Emmett has been a great eater since we brought him home. He is 5 weeks old and was taking up to 4 oz at a feeding. We call him our little pig cause that is all he wants. Now in the past week almost every time we try to feed him he screams, cries, flails his arms. Almost like he is in pain. Don't think it is colic because he is fine otherwise. We have tried gripe water and it calms him a little, but not to where he wants to eat. I know he must be hungry because he grabs onto the nipple, takes a few gulps and then starts to scream We haven't switched his formula or anything. He does have trouble burping and been gassy lately as well, but even after we get a good burp out of him he screams for feedings. It's like he wants it, but something is upsetting him. I have done a google search and found things about acid reflux in babies or maybe his formula upsetting his tummy. I just don't know what is going on. He has his 1 month appt this week so going to ask his Dr about it, but just trying to think of anything to get us through the next few days.

Not sure what to say to that.
Samantha did the same thing for the first time when I fed her about hr ago.

The flailing of arms, and screaming is what Samantha does most of the time when she is awake and she has acid reflux.
Have you tried gas drops since you say he has trouble with gas?
